On January 19, 2016, Lisa Hull obtained a summary judgment and dismissal of her clients, City of Princeton and City of Kyle in a very contentious lawsuit involving claims of constitutional violations pursuant to section 1983 of the Civil Rights Act.
In Civil Action No. 4:13-CV-00757, Plaintiff asserted violations of his rights under the First, Fifth, and Fourteenth Amendments to the Constitution arising out of two arrests and a general claim of harassment. After three years of extensive fact discovery and countless depositions, Lisa Hull succinctly and cogently boiled the facts and the law down to the essentials and demonstrated that her clients did not violate Plaintiff’s constitutional rights. The summary judgment is now on appeal, which the firm is handling.
